Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Belarus in Q2 2021

The second quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top navigation and maps apps in Belarus. Here is a detailed look at the performance metrics for the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Maps & Navigator experienced a steady increase in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at around 7.8K weekly downloads at the end of March, the app saw a consistent rise, peaking at approximately 8.8K by the end of June. The active user base also showed growth, moving from 336K to around 367K during the same period.

Yandex Navi – navigation, maps also demonstrated positive trends. Weekly downloads began at 5.7K and gradually increased to about 7K by the end of June. Active users saw a significant climb from approximately 182K to 218K over the quarter.

Google Maps maintained a stable performance in terms of downloads, hovering around 2.6K to 2.9K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. The app's active users saw a slight increase from 203K to around 208K by the end of June.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav showed a steady increase in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads grew from 991 to about 1.6K, while weekly revenue peaked at $47 in mid-April. Active users also increased, starting at 9.9K and reaching close to 14K by the end of June.

Finally, ПДД Беларуси had a modest performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.1K and 1.6K. Active users saw a slight increase, moving from 4.3K to approximately 4.6K by the end of the quarter.
